In an ongoing effort to honor best practices with regards to financial accounting and reporting at ERUUF, we will be sharing information in a more regular pattern with the entire Fellowship. In addition to a monthly article, there is a new web site area called "ERUUF by the Numbers" which will report relevant figures in the life of the congregation (membership, attendance, financial reports, graphs, and more!)
Quarterly financial reports are now posted with a Board level revenue/expense report and a narrative summary. These quarterly reports are also shared on paper and in conversation at quarterly finance forums during the year.
Financial Review Process: Every year since 2009, the Board has conducted an audit by an external accounting firm. After several full audits, this has now evolved into a financial review of agreed upon procedures. This external review is part of a larger review process that is governed by ERUUF's Internal Control Policy.
This policy outlines how staff, Lead Minster, Board, Coordinating Team, Board Finance Advisory Team and congregation all have a role in regular review (monthly, quarterly, annually) of the budget and finances. Please refer any questions to Daniel Trollinger ().
