Holiday Survival Guides: Critical Conversations
This month, WAG will discuss “Holiday Survival Guides: Critical Conversations.” The holidays are often a time when we have a chance to practice what we’ve been thinking and talking about, as we interact with family who are in a different place in their anti-racist work. We’ll come together to talk about this and support each other as we consider who and how we want to be in those conversations. Please take a look at these links ahead of time:

WAG is an intentional space for people who identify as white to work on dismantling the internalized white supremacy in our bodies, feelings, thoughts, and behaviors. We acknowledge that the systems and structures of our culture were designed to uphold white supremacy and that white supremacy is violence. We take responsibility for transforming our bodies, feelings, thoughts, and behaviors from upholding the dominant culture toward the work of collective liberation for all.
WAG, as a racial identity caucus group, is sibling to the Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) group.
