 nging the approach of Summertime! Eno River CUUPS celebrates Litha / Summe
 r Solstice on this\, the longest day of the year. The word 'Litha' comes f
 rom an old Anglo-Saxon month-name meaning 'gentle\,' for the gentle ocean 
 winds that give sailors a smooth passage at this time of year. Our gatheri
 ng will honor the ancient Antlered Goddess from the British Isles\, Elen o
 f the Ways\, Lady of the Wildwood. We'll take a guided journey to the Sacr
 ed Woods accompanied by a gentle frame drum rhythm. The Elm Dance\, a simp
 le participatory traditional circle Dance from Latvia\, will be offered as
  a shared prayer for life and for peace. We'll co-create a group mandala u
 sing small organic items gathered from Nature. Please feel free to bring y
 our own items from Nature to be included in the group mandala! Feel free t
 o invite like-hearted others to this celebration. This is a free participa
 tory gathering open to all those ages 16 and older\, and to children ages 
 15 and younger who are accompanied by a parent\, guardian\, or adult compa
