DESCRIPTION:Dr. Glen Thomas Rideout\, Director of Worship & Music at the Fi
 rst Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Ann Arbor\, Michigan\, will be 
 spending time with our congregation\, leading a workshop and rehearsal as 
 we continue to co-create our music ministry here at ERUUF. Saturday\, Febr
 uary 22\, 10:00 am - noon: Songleading Workshop for cantors\, RE teachers\
 , and people who have led singing or want to lead singing in the future.\n
 \n \nSaturday\, February 22\, 12:00 - 1:30 pm: Lunch with Dr. Rideout\, So
 ngleading Workshop and Choir Rehearsal participants. Attendance is warmly 
 encouraged\, but you don't have to come to lunch to participate in the cho
 ir.\nSaturday\, February 22\, 1:30 - 5:00 pm: Choir Rehearsal and Workshop
  for all singers. Singers from the Beloved Community Chorus and the Eno Ri
 ver Singers will participate\, but everyone from high school age on up is 
 welcome to participate! The first hour will include singers from 2nd grade
  up\, so if your child wants to sing\, please bring them!\n \nSunday\, Feb

 d Music for First Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Ann Arbor. In his
  thirteenth year with the community\, he leads the pioneering collaborativ
 e worship method he created with the Rev. Gail Ruth Geisenhainer [‘gai-zIn
 -ˎhe-nә] (GUISE-in-hay-ner) in 2014\, and has led the congregational and e
 nsemble music programs to national recognition.\nAddressing the Unitarian 
 Universalist Ministers Association\, The Rev. Otis Moss III described him 
 as “without a doubt\, one of the greatest ministers and gifts to this nati
 on.” With gladness\, Dr. Glen Thomas Rideout works as one of Unitarian Uni
 versalism’s most active artists\, liturgical thinkers\, teachers and leade
 rs of worship and music.\nDr. Rideout has served as music minister in eigh
 t faith traditions\, led and taught groups of Unitarian Universalists in m
 ore than a quarter of the nation’s states\, and conducted musical ensemble
 s in twenty nations.\nHis work with the Rev. Julica Hermann de la Fuente a
 nd the Rev. Erika Hewitt created “De-Centering Whiteness in Worship\,” a l
 eading resource for anti-racism work in congregations. His writing is publ
 ished by the Church of the Larger Fellowship\, the Unitarian Universalist 
 Association\, and Skinner House. With Matt Meyer\, the Rev. Sara Green\, a
 nd the Rev. Sofia Betancourt\, he helped to launch the Annual Songleaders’
  Convergence—a gathering to empower Unitarian Universalist song leaders.\n
