Learn about important Environmental Justice issues! Come read with the Earth Justice Action Group!

In the spring, we read Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer and enjoyed inspiring discussions.

This fall, we’re reading Waste by Catherine Coleman Flowers. Ms. Flowers grew up in Lowndes County, Alabama, is a renowned environmental justice advocate, and has been awarded a MacArthur “Genius” grant.

Two groups will meet virtually during September and October to discuss the book; you may join either or both groups or switch between them. Financial assistance is available for acquiring the book. This activity is part of ERUUF’s Green Sanctuary accreditation.
