White Antiracism Group (WAG)
WAG is an intentional space where white people gather to support each other as we awaken to, examine, and heal from the racialized trauma of white supremacy. We affirm that this is spiritual work and that being in community is a powerful and important part of the process. Or join virtually here!
Over the course of this year, we’ll listen to the podcast series Seeing White, then come together in meetings to reflect on our reactions.
A note about our name: Since its inception, this group has been called the White Awareness Group to reflect our goal of creating a space where white people would do the internal work of improving awareness of how whiteness affects our thoughts, behaviors, and feelings; building skills to reframe; and dismantling our social training. We fully honor these goals and our intention, as new facilitators, is to continue this mission; we've adjusted the name to White Antiracism Group to reflect the heart of our commitment.
