ERUUF Board Announces its Annual Vision of Ministry
Dear ERUUF Community,
The Board of Trustees has been hard at work, and we are excited to share with you the culmination of our efforts—the 2024-2025 Annual Vision of Ministry. The Board of Trustees augments and focuses implementation of the Strategic Plan yearly with its Annual Vision of Ministry goals. The Lead Minister, together with the Coordinating Team, utilizes the Board's vision as one guide for the planning of programming at ERUUF. This year, we have crafted a vision that speaks to the heart of who we are and who we aspire to be as a community:
This guiding vision reflects our commitment to nurturing a vibrant and inclusive community, honoring those who have paved the way, and building a future that is both meaningful and sustainable.
We look forward to seeing everyone at the Connections Fair on Sunday, September 15. Be sure to visit our table. This will be a wonderful opportunity for us all to gather, connect, and explore the many ways we can engage with and contribute to the life of our fellowship.
We look forward to seeing you there and to the year ahead as we bring our vision to life together.
In community,
ERUUF Board of Trustees
On Sunday, May 19, 2024, ERUUF will hold a multi-platform Annual Meeting of the Fellowship. This is an excellent opportunity for our members to engage in the governance of our community.
We need a quorum of 10% of our membership to open this meeting, so we encourage all of our members to mark this date on your calendar and plan to attend online or in-person.
Under our model of policy governance, the congregation gathers to vote on important ERUUF business, including reviewing and voting on our budget, electing members to our Board of Trustees, Nominating Committee, and Healthy Congregations Committee. This year we also will be voting on a resolution to nominate Rev. Deb Cayer as Minister Emerita and hearing from ERUUF leadership regarding key accomplishments for the past year.
There will be three participation options available:
Worship Associate: Kara Andrade
Generosity Sunday: Center for Death Penalty Litigation
WORSHIP THEME: HEALING
This Sunday, all are encouraged to bring a photograph or small object of remembrance as we build a community altar to honor our ancestors through ritual and candle lighting.
