The next San Ramón, Nicaragua Eco-Cultural Tour is coming in February 2023!
For more than 20 years, groups of UUs from North Carolina (and beyond) have participated in an eco-cultural tour sponsored by Sister Communities of San Ramon, Nicaragua (founded by two members of ERUUF).
Participants stay in the homes of local folks in San Ramon; enjoy the natural beauty of mountains, forests, waterfalls, birds, and animals; meet local farmers, artisans, and students; learn about coffee and cacao farming; see how SCSCRN’s work (rural schools, water and sanitation, and economic development) benefits the lives and welfare of the local community, and spend time in the colonial city of Granada.
