Approaching the Threshold: The Journey and The Ritual
We are approaching the cusp of a significant threshold in the life of our congregation: the decision to call a new Lead Minister. As ritual spaces of crossing, thresholds are also powerful places of transformation. As we move toward this most significant and transformative moment over the course of Candidating Week, this Sunday we'll consider our journey to this threshold of new possibility, and its rituals of relationship, deep discernment, and choice. Rev. Jacqueline Brett, ERUUF's candidate for Lead Minister, is this morning's worship leader; Eric Hodges is worship associate. Music by the Chapel Hill Philharmonia Cello Quartet (Dick Clark, Debbie Davis, Rosalind Volpe, and Dorothy Wright); Kate Lewis, pianist; Claudia Kaplan, cantor.
Join us on Wednesday evenings for short, informal services that include recorded music, readings, stories, spoken and silent meditation, or prayer.
Wednesday evenings, 7:00 pm via Zoom (online).
