Indigenous People's Day - A Deep Listening
Rev. Jacqueline Brett
Music: Kate Lewis and Rev. Stacy Grove

In a month focused on listening, our attention will be given to a history of America's Indigenous people. We will hear a reflection from member Julia Marrone, of Cherokee heritage, and we will center the work of incumbent United States Poet Laureate, Joy Harjo of the Mvskoke/Creek Nation, the first Native person to be given this title.
