2500 Hours of Love: Stories of Members in Action!
ERUUFians have continued to live out our racial justice values in the community through the 2500 Hours of Love gift to Rev. Cayer. Would you like to see some of the possible ways you can participate -- through images and text?

Update on Afghan Family Support Project
ERUUF's Refugee and Immigrant Action Group is staying very active with our Afghan Family Support Project, in conjunction with Church World Service. Two Afghan families are now being co-sponsored by ERUUF-- a total of 11 people. Our volunteers are primarily working with one family, with a specific focus, like health, school, and employment. In the last week, we have been working toward getting the kids in the larger family (6 kids!) enrolled in school, making sure they have adequate winter clothes and shoes and helping the parents understand the mechanics of their home (they have no experience with either a dishwasher or a whole house vacuum). In the small family, our ESL volunteers are now visiting daily to work separately with each of the parents. They are working on basic things like greetings, colors, and body parts. One day last week they sang the “head, shoulders, knees and toes” song, and labeled more body parts.

Music Director Search Update
The Music Director Search Committee is pleased to share that the hiring process is going well. The position has been shared with over 40 institutions and individual contacts and remains listed as “open until filled.” We encourage members and friends to review the job description here.

A new phase has been reached in the COVID-19 virus.
As a spiritual community, we at ERUUF strive to create a culture of respect and care for one another. Our Covid-19 policies have been guided by serious concern and consideration for the safety and well-being of all ERUUF members, staff, and visitors, with a commitment to equity and care for the most vulnerable among us and those who are marginalized both at ERUUF and in the larger community.
