Yuri Yamamoto (they/she) is a board-certified clinical chaplain at Central Prison in Raleigh. They are commissioned and endorsed by FCM. Yuri weaves history, arts, improvisation, and sacred stories to make sense of their life. Yuri’s website is https://accompanist4thesoul.com.

The concept of pluralism celebrates that we are all sacred beings, diverse in culture, experience, and theology. This morning we’ll reflect on how ageism, with its pervasive stereotypes of each generation, hinders the potential found in our congregations.
Rev. Patty Hanneman has served Unitarian Universalism as both a campus minister at Duke University and as a parish minister for the UU Congregation of Hillsborough. Her ministry currently includes offering spiritual direction, rites of passage and congregational consulting. She lives in Durham with her partner Karen Hill.

Through the lens and laboratory of the honeybee hive and from Michelle's direct relationship with honeybees in the earthly and spiritual realms, Michelle will guide us back into union and alignment with ourselves and all we are connected to. She will offer stories and teaching focused on interconnectedness and community. Come prepared to reconnect with the infinite hum and vibration that resides within all beings and things, the human and more than human world, and all of time and space.

This service will draw on poetry by contemporary Jewish poets to open up a space for renewal, reflection, and justice for all. Rabbi Noah will reflect on the choices we make to keep doing what is life-giving for us, even when we find ourselves in incredibly challenging times.

ERUUF’s Minister Emeritus, Rev. Dr. Arvid Straube, will offer a sermon on how not to become what we hate. At the 11:00 am service, we will also enter into covenant with the new members who have joined ERUUF recently.
Rev. Dr. Arvid Straube is ERUUF's Minister Emeritus. He served ERUUF as Senior Minister from 1983 to 2004. From 2004 to 2014 he was Lead Minister at the First UU Church of San Diego. Since then Rev. Arvid has had a ministry of teaching and spiritual direction.
