Dinners in Homes are held twice a year in fall and spring. This fall session runs from October 14-November 18. Click below to find out more about how they work.
As most of you know, our long-time chalice was accidentally broken a while back and we have been using a temporary replacement ever since. Given the importance of the flaming chalice in Unitarian Universalist heritage and services, it was decided to commission a new chalice fitting for our beautiful sanctuary and our services. Supported by an Eno River Fellowship Foundation grant, we are in the process of finding an artist to create ERUUF’s new chalice. A Chalice Team of six members has been assembled, and they have created a Call to Artists that will be distributed in the art community Once applications have been received they will be reviewed by the Chalice Team and presented to the Congregation for discussion and comment. Our goal is to for the final design to reflect a broad consensus among ERUUF members.
You won't want to miss this annual celebration and fundraising event for the entire congregation - good food, good conversation, fun for the entire family as well as some wonderful items for auction.
"GA", as it is affectionately called, is the is the annual meeting of our Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA). Attendees worship, witness, learn, connect, and make policy for the Association through democratic process.
"Dinners in Homes" are opportunities for ERUUFIANS to get to know one another in small gatherings of 6 to 10 in a relaxed and congenial atmosphere over a potluck lunch or dinner at member's homes.
