This past Sunday, children and youth gathered to celebrate Juneteenth! They began by listening to Opal Lee and What It Means to Be Free during the service.
During RE time, they played freeze dance and talked about the meaning of Juneteenth. They also made Juneteenth scratch art and flags, spent time on the playground, and ended by enjoying red fruit punch together.
