Resisting Christian Nationalism in North Carolina - The Dogwood Faith Project is UU Justice NC’s multiyear program to resist the rise of Christian Nationalism in North Carolina. As part of UU the Vote, UU Justice NC is offering multiple opportunities to participate in our 3-part training sessions on Zoom. The series will teach you how to resist Christian Nationalism through canvassing, phonebanking, and everyday conversation.

Rituals of Resistance: A Training on Faithful Witness from Delaney Hall. Wednesday, August 26th from 8:00 PM - 9:15 PM on Zoom. Hosted by UU Solidarity Initiative. Join some of the UU leaders who have been leading the faithful resistance at the Newark detention camp, Delaney Hall. Seven Directions of Service - Rights of Nature Info Sessions - Join 7 Directions of Service for a community info session on the Indigenous-led Rights of Nature campaign in NC. Rights of Nature laws and policies seek to grant legally enforceable rights to rivers and ecosystems, and are rooted in Indigenous values of kinship and interconnectedness. During these sessions we will discuss the broader Rights of Nature movement, what’s next with our campaign and how to plug in.
