Durham CAN Action June 2

Sunday, June 2
After Service – Fellowship Hall

The Durham Association of Educators is asking all community members to join us in the fight for the public schools our students deserve. Right now, the Durham County Commission is deciding school budgets for next year and they need to hear from you, their constituents, about the importance of investing in our public schools.

This Sunday, June 2, we will have a table with sample letters you can use to draft a letter to the County Commission. All you have to do is show up, and we will mail them for you. We look forward to seeing all of you on Sunday and to fighting together for the schools Durham students deserve!

This Friday, we will be writing Letters to the Editor sounding the alarm about this crisis. Review this week's Actions on our Google Doc, and Join via this Zoom Link.
