Join CommunEcos this Fri. Oct. 14 at6:30 pm at Durham’s Eno River UU Fellowship (ERUUF) for an event on low-income community solar. We’ll screen the Emmy Nominated film “Solar for All” and 3 accompanying short videos on an innovative Washington DC project, with comments from Jim Senter on the Pot Luck Farm/Elderberry co-op experiences with solar and discussion to follow. A joint event with our colleagues in the ERUUF Earth Justice committee.

“Solar for All” (2020) was the official selection of the Colorado Environmental Film Festival last year. The 3 short films in the series feature experiences of a participant in the program, educational and green job opportunities in the District, and the role played by District solar companies that capture the energy and share the financial benefits with neighborhoods in need.

Social gathering at 6:30 pm.  Free Event. Please wear masks, and the room will permit social distanced seating. Individualized drinks and snacks will be available.  Film starts at 7 pm
