The Homeless Action Team is hosting a gathering in the Fellowship Hall at 1:00 PM on March 13th following the second service.  Bo Glenn, the coordinator of the team, writes:

The purpose of the meeting is to report on our work in 2015 and what is planned for 2016.  We also would like to acquaint and encourage interested folks to get involved in the ongoing projects at Urban Ministries' (UMD) homeless shelter and community pantry and closet.  

As a supporter of the ERUUF effort at UMD, it would be great if you could come to the meeting.  There will be time to share your experiences with some folks who have not yet worked at the Shelter and maybe do some recruiting to help with the ERUUF effort.

As a partner with UMD, we have a number of opportunities to participate.  It would be great if we could continue to expand our participation so that other members of the Fellowship can take part.  Also, working at the Shelter has provided a number of opportunities for the middle and high school students.  I would like to continue to expand these opportunities.
