Eno River CUUPS invites you to join us in celebrating El Día De Los Muertos which occurs every year during the 3-day sacred season of Samhain, the Cross Quarter exactly halfway between Autumn Equinox and Winter Solstice.

We'll gather on Sun 2-Nov at 6pm outdoors in front of the CARE Building at ERUUF for a potluck and group sharing. This is the time on the Great Wheel of the Year when the veil between the worlds is believed to be thin, when the door to the next world is open wide. All over Mother Earth, people celebrate their ancestors at this time with ofrendas ("offering-altars"). We will celebrate too, honoring all those on the other side who we revere and cherish. We'll welcome them into our circle, letting them know they are remembered and still loved. Please bring a dish to share; gluten-free and vegan/vegetarian dishes are particularly welcomed. It would be very helpful if you RSVP by emailing us at , letting us know if you're planning to come so the space can be prepared as needed. This is a participatory gathering open to all those ages 16 and older, and to children ages 15 and younger who are accompanied by a parent, guardian, or adult companion.
