????️RENews:

This past Saturday, we had the 5th annual ERUUF Halloween Fest! Attendance was great, with over 70 adults, children, and youth attending. There was a pasta potluck, magic show, carnival (with candy), costume contest (congratulations to the winners - George Washington and the Lorax!), mad science lab, and a campfire with halloween stories. Thank you to everyone that helped make the Halloween Fest a success!

Then on Sunday, children and youth enjoyed a multigenerational service with special guest Jasmine Powell. They enjoyed the dancing, readings, and music!

Crossing Paths had their Tack Day for Judaism. A Jewish community member joined the class to expand their learning. They connected the Bar/Bat Mitzvah and our Coming of Age Program, then spoke about The Shofar and Rosh Hashanah and connected them to our 3rd UU principle.

High School Youth Group had bagels for lunch while they chatted.

Our current Coming of Age cohort met with the elders/mentors for the first time. They had plenty of snacks, played a quiz game, and got to know each other better through deep discussion questions.
