You are warmly invited to join Eno River CUUPS to celebrate Litha and Summer Solstice on this longest day of the year.

June is here bringing the approach of Summertime! Eno River CUUPS celebrates Litha / Summer Solstice on this, the longest day of the year. The word "Litha" comes from an old Anglo-Saxon month-name meaning "gentle," for the gentle ocean winds that give sailors a smooth passage at this time of year. Our gathering will honor the ancient Antlered Goddess from the British Isles, Elen of the Ways, Lady of the Wildwood. We'll take a guided journey to the Sacred Woods accompanied by a gentle frame drum rhythm. The Elm Dance, a simple participatory traditional circle Dance from Latvia, will be offered as a shared prayer for life and for peace. We'll co-create a group mandala using small organic items gathered from Nature. Please feel free to bring your own items from Nature to be included in the group mandala! Feel free to invite like-hearted others to this celebration. This is a free participatory gathering open to all those ages 16 and older, and to children ages 15 and younger who are accompanied by a parent, guardian, or adult companion. Hope to see you there!
