Q: What is your current responsibility at ERUUF and what excites you about it?
I am responsible for supporting the office and its systems run smoothly. It’s a multifaceted role that includes general office support, facilities maintenance, room rental management, worship producing, and the tech team. It’s exciting to create new systems, and I am grateful for our wonderful team who make it possible for me to do so.
Q: What path led you to this position?
Serendipity led me here and what started as a part-time RE Assistant, turned into a part-time office assistant, to a full-time facilities coordinator. Witnessing the work of the justice ministry over the years and the courageous work of this community to tackle racial equity and inclusion has held my attention.
Q: What would you like the congregation to know about you?
I am an adventurous soul who enjoys writing and creating global movements that bring people together. One day I’d love to operate a retreat center, own a boat, an R/V, and travel the world interviewing folks for an inspiring written legacy of life lessons, entitled, Dear World. #Iamfreedomsdrum
